Amazing Food Photography At Lift, Wyoming
Almost a month ago, I spend a couple days at Wyoming taking landscape, long exposure, portraits and all different kind of photos. It was an amazing trip!
My favorite moment was when I did food photography at Lift Restaurant, located in Jackson, Wyoming. It was over midday and my group and I arrived at their place. Their servers were very welcome to us and they started bringing out the food. It was a beautiful moment! A tip for myself and any other photographer, If you’re going to do food photography, you should eat something beforehand.
All their entrees, main dishes and desserts are amazing. I used some speedlights and LED’s continuous lights. I had to set something new for every new dish but the food kept coming toward us. It was a lovely overwhelming experience.
Here are some photos of that day:
This type of photography is something that I really enjoyed doing. I’ve always been close to restaurants because of work but I never saw it as an opportunity to take pictures of. Now I’m considering contacting my previous bosses and see if there is any chance for me to take pictures of their main dishes.
In case food photography has caught your attention, you should definitely check Francesco Tonelli‘s work. He’s an absolute master at it!
