Trying Smoke Bombs and Gels At Portraits

I’ve always seen photos with a smoke of different colors around the subject. Every time that I’ve seen a photo like this on Instagram, I stopped and analyzed it. I was intrigued by the smoke and wondered what was the exact name for it.

A couple of weeks ago, I was introduced to smoke bombs. These were the actual smoke bombs that I was intrigued! My teacher brought some to my class and me and my classmates had a fun time using them!

Another trick that I learned was the use of gels for my speed lights. I’ve seen them before but I never had the chance to use them. You can get very creative with them!
