Professional Headshots With Billy Plank

I’ve had the amazing opportunity to learn from Billy Plank, a professional photographer whose passion is cars. As soon as he told me about his photography work with cars, I was fascinated! But that’s a story for another post!

Billy taught us more in-depth information about the three-point studio lighting set up we should use for professional portraits. The first light is our key or main light. This one is in charge to light up most of the details of our subject. Our second light is a fill light, which helps us to reduce the shadows created by our main light. The last one is our hair light. This light is to separate our subject from our background.
